Nestled near the banks of the Manjara River in Arvi, Latur, Shardasadan Ashramshala is more than a school—it's a sanctuary of hope. Established in 2010 by the Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Sanstha, the school provides residential education to children from marginalized communities across Maharashtra.
With over 280 students from 40+ locations, we offer academic instruction, vocational training, cultural enrichment, and eco-conscious living. Our mission is to nurture confident, compassionate individuals who carry the light of learning into their communities.
Students here engage in diverse activities that go beyond textbooks. Through music, dance, festivals, and the beloved "Aamhi Phulpakharu" children's festival held every Republic Day, learning becomes an experience of joy and creativity. Our students also participate in the Vidyarthi Samvad Manch—a unique student-led forum that empowers children to develop leadership skills, express ideas, and support peer learning.
Sharda Sadan Ashram Shala is a residential school dedicated to empowering children from marginalized communities through holistic education, skill development, and cultural enrichment. Established with compassion and purpose, we nurture young minds to become confident, capable, and socially responsible citizens.
To empower underprivileged children with dignity, education, and opportunity—fostering holistic development through compassion, structure, and lifelong learning.
Residential care, academic education, skill training in sewing and farming, cultural programs, digital literacy, and eco-friendly practices like biogas and organic agriculture.
Sharda Sadan stands as a safe haven for children who would otherwise be left behind. Through structured programs and nurturing care, they gain the tools to shape a brighter future.
